Dr. Katherine Kosche, a Chicago native, performed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. She then
attended Columbia University where she earned her Ph.D. in Genetics. Her doctoral research used the techniques of molecular biology to study the regulation of human globin (blood) genes.
After completing her Ph.D., Dr. Kosche was admitted to the University of Miami School of Medicine, graduating in 1989.
Michaela Hernandez PA-C, was born in Lima, Peru and is fluent in English & Spanish. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Florida International University in 1994. She was employed for several years at Jackson Memorial Hospital in this capacity.
She then earned a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida in 2001. She has extensive experience in patient care in the specialites of gastroenterology and cardiology.
